Streak BHD,
Vlieg in en roep Brits op 124.20 so 5 myl uit. We will have a manned radio on the ground and if there is a landing sequence on at the time, you will get instructions. Worst is that you will be requested to remain clear of the circuit for a couple of minutes for the sequence to be completed, after which you come in and do normal landing. Most likely circuit for the day will be right downwind for 02.

Weather forecasts are starting to show a clear sunny day with light wind from the N - NE.

Nicow arrived 15h30 at Brits in a record time from Potgietersrust. 80mph average. Dis vlieg daai ! Trike safely hangared.

Compulsary briefing at 08h00 tomorrow. Entries close at eight. Waar is Kroon se manne ? (**) En die GT's ?

Entries are low compared to last year. Surprisingly because Brits is hosting the World champs next year. Only 13 blik aeries and 4 microlights so far.
Last year 28 in total and the year before 25 entries. Economy ?

Anyway, looking forward to some good flying and competition. vhpy

And the beauty is that it is good fun !

(^^) (^^) To Christo and Nico ! Or should it be the other way around !

Both are worthy aviators in conditions the most sturdy would have evaded !

Christo flew his Bantam like a demon, Nico flew his lovely Cobra with his son's ballast to perfection.

I withdrew from the comp after my 2nd landing not being satisfied with my 503's climb rate after both touch downs.

After the Mircolight comp I left FABS in a rush to attend the Gauteng Hang Gliding Champs at FAAP (Aviators), and only walked (stumbled) back into my house now. This Harties area has been a micro-wave oven for 2 days in a row now.

Nico en Christo, (^^) Well done !!!

Klootpiloot
