ZU-AAD?

Postby SkySketch » Sat Oct 23, 2010 6:24 pm

Two weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon (10th of October), me and my friends were swimming in the ocean in Hartenbos and a windlass trike ZU-AAD came buzzing low level along the coastline. Is it perhaps a fellow Microlighter?

Kind Regards
JP

and a windlass trike ZU-AAD came buzzing low level along the coastline
According to Avdex it is a MOTO-CHUTE BATELEUR licensed to T v.d. Meulen.

No idea what this Moto-chute looks like. :?: :?: The name certainly does not sound like a trike ?

Was definitely a Orange Trike, looked like a Windlass.

Biggles, I checked ZS version also on Avdex; ZS-AAD is a big heavy metal.

If you ask me it is starting to sound like a Windlass is flying with someone else's call sign, namely a Moto-Chute Bateleur ?

I think SkySketch has got the registration all wrong..... The trike belongs to Japie Bendle - ZU-AAO

I'll even post a pic shortly!

  With exams in Full swing I don't really have time to work on it much. I have however written it, it only needs to be moderated. Will have it done in about 2 weeks.

Kind Regards
JP

PS: It seems I made a mistake with the Registration, that is indeed the trike I saw. AAO

Thank you JP.... as you may now have realised, it is not an easy task to formulate, compile and print a magazine :) By this I mean - Look how easy a simple and every day task hampers the completion thereof (exams, inspections, SARS, VAT, month ends etc etc etc) A thought to bear in mind... the whole MISASA Committee, Scribes and Contributors to Microflight Africa is made of people that have day jobs or own businesses yet they do have one thing in common - a passion for aviation adventure!

Let me have the article filled pictures young lad and you may have a pleasant surprise in the post! (!!)

ps ZU-AAO is often seen enjoying himself on the coastline! (^^)
