Hopefully we can get it together this week end, although for Saturday morning in Empangeni the prediction is for moderate SW and cloud, however still optimistic - now, any idea who serves breakfast in the area vhpy

If you gonna be in The Cato area then speak to Brian at Emoyeni Flight Park. They do a lekka brekkie there. Just let then know beforehand.
Or John Young always has a fire going at Light Flight.

Fetching new toy, lift found: GP -> KZN

Postby John Young » Thu Oct 07, 2010 10:33 am

Hi Rudi,

Sounds like the red carpet is being rolled out for our own esteemed and intrepid aviator - lekker. !!!!

Now listen "gud" - we don't make idle threats on this forum. vhpy vhpy

If you do not pitch up for any other reason than the wx (for example TanyaK using gearbox oil as a hair conditioner) the KZN heavy ou's are going to bust your @@'s. vhpy

Look forward to meeting you at last.

Hi James!

Thanks for the info and invite, as I am typing this there is a thunderstorm right over my head, but that is normal for this time of the year in the afternoon in these parts. Lets hope Saturday morning is clear.

Thanks for the breakfast invite! It would be great, just not sure what time, maybe I can give you a call Saturday morning once I have a clearer idea of how things are going, I think I have your number, it ends in 570?

I have quite a few strips in the area after Estcourt but what they look like is another story, any particular ones you know that are good enough for a Jabbi SP?

Regards,
Rudi

Hi John!

Thanks for the call earlier (^^)

Yes, I do indeed feel privileged with the red carpet treatment! Oh, btw, TanyaK says HI and that she has gone completely off that brand of hair conditioner vhpy vhpy

If the wx is ok I will pop in at Light Flight, will call you once I am on the ground to hear what you are up to, would be part of my "getting to know her" exercise!

Yes, looking forward to meeting you after years of chatting!

Regards,
Rudi

Hi Rudi

Yes, that is the correct number ...

the alternate strips will accommodate the SP and most are in the databases except for Duncan's at Mount West (between us and Mooi River) it's a very new airfield...

I will give you his details via pm if you don't already have them

Treverton, Siteka, and Shafton all in regular use should you get stuck!

hoping that we may get a storm later, it's still very dry

See you Saturday and breakfast is at anytime, just got a meeting at 3pm (**)
(busy with building the track for the Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup in PMB for next April)

Cheers and regards

Hi James,

Thanks, then I can give you a call!

I have the other strips but not Duncan's, I would appreciate the info.

This is also our first rain of the season, much needed, hope you get some soon as well, just not this weekend vhpy Thanks, breakfast sounds good, before 3pm is no problem, need to be on my way to Ladysmith by then. Wow, the Mountain bike world cup project sounds great, perfect area for a track like that.

Chat on Saturday,
Kind Regards,
Rudi
