Always thought that it would be fun to build a pod like this for my trike, but was put off by the prospect of years of testing and waiting for approval from CAA. I may still build a back-seat combined spare fuel tank/luggage box for those long fly-aways.

I like the positioning of the ballistic shute, that position would be brilliant for a topless wing. Cable mounted to the pylon. It would mean you land on the wheels instead of face first.
