Hi All
I have just been offered a Bushbaby at what seems a fairly good price. I am still awaiting full details of the owner etc. My question is, this aircraft has only 5 hous on the Hobbs. I remember reading somewhere that aircraft types have to have flown 30 hours or something? Please excuse my ignorance but can someone please fill me in on the finer details of purchasing this type of aicraft. Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Darren

Re: Info
Hi Darren
if it was privately built it will have to have o proving flight authority issued. This will normally allow the aircraft to be flown for 40 hours, after which the test flight data is submitted to caa and then the normal authority to fly is issued.
If the a/c was factory built the process is different.
For your own peace of mind I strongly suggest you have a pre-purchase inspection done by a BB rated AP. Well worth the money.
Call me on oh82 four100032 anytime if you wish
