1983 - R 7000.00 new aerie
Found these in a cupboard at home. Dates back to 1983. You can't even afford a prop these days for those prices.

Those were the days...
Re: 1983 - R 7000.00 new aerie
In 1982 I bought a brand spanking new MAC-CDL , from the factory, for R3500.

I believe I can fly...even touch the sky

My first flip in a microlight was in a Quicksilver MX 2 with Fanie Van Rensburg in 83 at Rhino park and in a trike was with Mike Blythe at Bapsfontein in 84 or 85. I was 6 years old. Those were the days!!!

Could buy a new small car for R3500.... Now same small car costs R100K+. The more things change the more they stay the same..nicow wrote:Those were the days...

ek is in die verkeerde era gebore

I flew and saw the halo around my shadow on the cotton clouds, and I knew that this must be heaven.
