Eagle Aviation

Postby Nkwazi » Sat Nov 28, 2009 1:43 pm

Why was my reply to Eagle Aviation deleted - simple question. Why should I pay him 5K more for the same plane advertised under aircraft for sale. He then also removes the wing reg on the photo - nice try Mr El Shaddai. I'm sure my post on his thread will be deleted again. This is what I posted there:

Hey who edited my post ( oh I see you a moderator on this topic, pity) - once again why should I pay you Nick 5k more than the seller under another thread, especially after you've photoshopped the reg out. I dont like the way you do business broer

This post going to Hangar Talk

By the way, I'm in the market for a trike - wont be using you Nic ##

I hear you Nkwasi

To be fair - If someone has asked Nick to market their plane, then they should not be advertising it too, as misunderstandings like this then arise.

Give Nick some credit - He seems to market very well, he is delivering a service, and if his cut is R5k then actually very little to be fair as I am sure he markets elsewhere too. He has also talked a finance house into financing airies which has been a big problem up untill now and stood in the way of many guys owning their own aircraft.

As for the editing of Nkwasi's post - Eish, perhaps not ideal - Rather answer the man if he asks something

The confusion came in with Eagle Aviation and the owner marketing the plane on the same site.

Hi Big D,

Thank you so much for your positive comments ! (!!) Yes I am very glad to announce that we will have financing available for
LS1 aircraft available before year end. Normally the banks only finance ZS registrations. I also have a transport service in place
So now we can pick up & deliver Trikes & Gyros Nationwide !

My letter to Nkwazi was as follow:

My Dearest Friend,

I have a special section for Eagle Aviation under Microlighters Forum. I pay a substantial amount for that privilege every month. Do you think it is right for any business not to make one cent profit ? I put a lot of effort into all deals that I am doing. The only thing you accomplish to put posts like that on my forum which I pay for on a monthly basis is to neutralise the deal ! I mean on this specific deal my mark up is 3 % !!! For that 3 % i do the following : I am specialising in the aviation market and when taking a transaction in I do quite an aggressive campaign to get your aircraft sold. I advertise at seven different places and spend quite a few rand to get as much exposure as possible. It is my business to make Sellers and Buyers equally happy. I also have about 15 years of experience in the Aviation Industry. Assistance with the whole process is also provided -Sales Contracts / Change of ownership (CAR 47A) / Authority to Fly etc. I have sold more than 100 Aircraft over a period of 3 years and have to say most of the people involved became very good friends. Do you think it is ok if you want to blackmail me putting it under hangar talk ? Come on my friend let a little sun shine over others as well...... It is my fulltime business and I am contributing greatly to the South African Aviation Market. Let us be Friends...... United we will Stand !........ Divided we will fall .......

(^^)

Hope you have a Splendid Weekend and sorry I deleted your post again........

Fair enough Nick, we all look to make money in our respective businesses but then dont you think the actual seller should remove his post from the other topic. The photo's are all the same except you removed the reg. I'm sure the seller doesnt give a rats arse who sells the plane - but who would you buy from if you were me.??

Hey Nkwazi,

Normally it is my practice to negotiate the deal that way.... For some reason this guy advertised as well and for 5k less without saying one word to me. I agree with you that if you are willing to go through all the CAA & RAASA paperwork processes you would want to pay 5k less – But on the other hand that alone can let you take 2 days leave to get all of that done and normally then the guys still do the deal through me.....
