Any wear and tear on the structural parts of the wing ?
How does the holes on the attached points look like after all the years.
How many hours on the Challenger ?
Would like to know for future reference because i am nearly finished with my Challenger II xxx

Everything on the actual structure is good. However I have picked up the occasional hole that the original builder screwed up on. I realise that the oke that built this plane either had two left hands or was in a rush. I have corrected all cock ups and everything will be to spec. The plane only has 510 hours. No wear on any of the points and things look very good. But like I said I did find a couple of drilled holes where the original builder cocked up. Everything that has been done now is being checked out by an approved AP of Challenger aircraft and will be signed out accordingly. She is going to look great.

Not bad at all. Though personally I think one more coat would have been good. Maybe I could still do it now that the wings are back on or I'll just leave it as is. I'm just very critical on myself so maybe time just to fly!!!!!

I am. Now a bit of courage to test her out. There is always a little niggle in my gut "did I put everything back correctly?" Hehehe!
Anyway all new AN bolts replaced that hold the wing in place safety pins and safety rings. Plus a mod on the struts, a safety strap which makes good sense.
Did a new weight and balance too. So that's it. vhpy

The bird flew yesterday. Did a couple of circuts. Feels a bit more slippery that it was before. Waiting for some decent weather and go out of the cabbage patch a bit and really see how she flys.
