Hi Gavin
Congratulations with the Sunbird. Looks lovely. What engine does it have and do you have some specs you can post.
Best wishes

Hi Andre

The motor is a BMW R100. It gives about 75HP, it has the /5 ignition and charging system.
The Motor threw a sparkplug and that is why i am doing some ## "REPAIRS" ## but overall the plane is in good condition.
she cruises at about 100MPH and is a duel seater(Tandem) open cockpit. Sorta a mix between a cubby and a pietenpol.
If anybody has a spare 72"42' Left hand prop floating around please can we speak business.
I am also looking for an instructor so if anybody has idea's i am also listening.

Less uploading and pretending to tile your house...more building! When are you next building so that I can pop round?

Cheers

I made the Mistake of Putting Nitrate on the wing lastnight and not opening the windows, the smell pulled into the house during the night and now I have a very (**) "UNHAPPY" wife.
So i need to put some time into finishing the Bathroom but hey Priorities

Gavin she's looking good!

I am interested though, What made you decide to stop work on the VP and to switch to the sunbird? It almost seems as if there was less work left on the VP? :?

Hi Andy

The VP is just about finished but i need to still do stress tests etc on her wings (**) And the SUnbird has already flown over 80Hours, plus she is a two seater so i can get some training on her and i can fly her while i finish the VP. ## ##
I will Finish the VP cos that is my FUN Flyer. But the Sunbird is More practical for now. ## ##

Aha - I remember the bit about the wing loadtest.

The two seater option definitely is MUCH more practical.

Good luck! vhpy

"F%#%#k the VP is nealy done, unless I find something else to build, I am going to have to speak to the wife. (**) (**) What the F#%$#%$K is for sale :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Ok, I got a F##$#%$King Sunbird, I am ok for a few months. (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)
