Just remember that when plating a HT bolt or cap screw the possibility of introducing hydrogen embrittlement (google it) does exist, if using something such as 12,9 cap screw, they dont really corrode and just a smear of oil will be adequate. stainless steel is best for gates, yachts and vintage cars. Terrible stuff !!
