Thanks guys! Much appreciated!
Re: www.microlighters.co.za has me by the curlies...
A tangled web of relationships is the perception I am getting.
It looks like that this forum was a client of Pimpano (Pty) Ltd and not of RSAWeb. Pimpano was reselling hosting to this forum. So who negotiated the agreement with Pimpano - surely if Pimpano made an error, this forum or DH, as a customer should not be the ones to carry the burden? Are other clients of Pimpano also carrying an apportionment of the unexpected fees incured (The attachment only shows what Pimpano was billed by RSAWeb with no apportionment to any other clients)? Exactly who are we bailing out, this forum, or some (Pty) Ltd?
There is also no indication as to where the google ad fees have been applied. Last bill to this forum is December according to the attachment, and I understand that the google ads income generated, was a few thousand per month. So would we be correct in saying that there is still some funds to be collected by microlighters.co.za for these ads that can then be applied to the account at Pimpano?
More digging and I see that the microlighters.co.za domain was transferred from Barry to Pimpano in April of last year. So if Pimpano owns the domain - why are they billing some external customer?

Re: www.microlighters.co.za has me by the curlies...
Skybound - Pimpano Three is my company.
RSAWeb is my hosting provider. They bill me for the monthly hosting fees. Up until the time I moved the site I had no excess usage on my account. After I moved the site to RSAWeb the bills started to run up.
I have no other high usage sites other than this one.
The forum is by default a client of mine because I moved it onto my hosting account at RSAWeb.
You are not bailing out any other client other than this forum - I negotiated a rate of R0.12 per MB with RSAWeb when I moved the site. Before that I was charged R0.19 per MB for overuse and incurred a cost of a few Rands.
The google ads pay out once every 2-3 Months when a balance of $100 is reached. Duly noted - those should be apportioned to the account. But it does not generate a few thousand Rand a month. I will send admin@microlighters.co.za a the login and between Morph, Demon and Tailspin they can recon the account and tell me what to credit back.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Your auditing skills are much appreciated Skybound. Thanks for keeping me on my toes.
I am more than willing to invite our admins to come over and investigate the billing I have received from RSAWeb - my account with RSAWeb for other clients is however, private, willing to share that with Demon, Morph and Tailspin but that is where it ends. They can decide about my transparancy.

Hi All
Skybound i have allways asked for an invoice and for the paperwork to be done before i do any payments.
I will go and have a look into what you are saying and then give the forum some feedback asap.
I am sure DH will not bill us for nothing and i have seen what ISP's can do to a company.
I do not think it is a "web of relationships"
I will do a recon and go through the stuff with DH and give a report as soon as possible.

Skybound® and the rest of our members
Anything that happens on Microlighters is passed by the 4 admins before executed upon. This includes all finances.
When we moved microlighters locally in a bid to get performance up and to overcome a problem with loosing connectivity to the database regularly, we did so in full agreement. We were always aware of Pimpano and we had to authorise the move of the A and MX domain records to that company. DH has always declared all the income and expenditure to us and we have to approve all payments prior to being made to him.
So I can assure you that there is NO underhanded behaviour.
If you feel you can add to the running of the forum in any way, advise, experience etc, please email us on admin@microlighters
We have now moved it offshore to a large US based host for unlimited storage and bandwidth usage for $7.95 per month. (http://www.hostgator.com/)Once we have covered the RSAWeb expense I believe the income from google ads or the admins themselves will revert to carrying the costs of the forum.
We thank you all for your support
