Will this require CAA approval as it is a modification?

I would be interested. The only problem I foresee with my Aquilla 912 is that the tank will block off the water and oil radiators.

It will require approval

Take note before you fit it. If anything happens ####

Just my 2 cents

Balance pipe between the legs, as per standard Aquilla tank.

Do you have a pic of this installed in an Aquilla? Just to see what it looks like installed and what the clearance is? (For under-tank pannier bags. i.e. the ones you mount under the fuel tank)
Thanks

Just one question. Why did you not buy a tank from Solowings? They have a 50l tank that straps on to your current tank making it 100L in total. I personally know a pilot who had this done by Solowings and it works very well indeed! The tank straps are crossed to prevent it from swinging. You can pump over via an electric fuelpump or have a "gravity feed" if you dont like the electric stuff.
