Hi Everyone

I had a ride in the new QuickR today. It is really incredible to fly in. It has really opened my eyes to see how well it performs and how well it has been built. Unfortunately I cant afford one yet but maybe one day. Are there any in S.A yet?

Wonder what the CAA will say about this Topless, because they've got a problem with everybody else's.

Been trying to get hold of Big-G to get parts for my wing.
This would explain why he is not answering my Mails. :x

Hi All. Yes I have just arrived back from the soggy wet UK. Finally got to fly to QuikR or Quicker as they call it.

Yes it is quicker. Yes she is really a dream to fly. Very stable. No odd quirks that I could find.

I arrived from Scotland in Rochdale at the factory about mid day. Weather was looking dicy and the next day worse. Well nothing was going to stop me flying trust me. So off to Barton airfield near Manchester. There huddled in the back of the huge wartime hangar was the P&M demonstrator.

Finally after much pushing and pulling of many aircraft we got the QuikR out the door. Weather was wet and windy. Perfect for a test flight. Finally after refuelling, preflight and warm up we were given the green to go from the tower.

In what was a much shorter roll than expected we we airborne. Altitude was 150ft, fuel 30 litres and passenger/pilot weight 160kgs. Climb out at 70mph was still over 1000ft/min.

Once at cruise I throttled back to 4000rpm and was suprised to see we were still doing over 80mph. Flat out straight and level easily 105mph plus. Always good to see that their aircraft always perform often better than they claim in the specs.

Landing approach was very shallow. Winding up the trim to get the speed down. Flare and float impressive. Actually floats even more than the GT.

P&M have really done their home work here. What a superb aircraft.

The engineering in the wing and all the fancy goodies for safety is impressive. This really is a superb upgrade to the GT450. Yes I will have one here soon.
