Would be nice for other members if you did it here. I'm planning to fly to tzaneen in the near future and would appreciate the info too.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

I live in Hoedspruit so I am fairy familiar with the area, phone me if you require and info. Remember you need a permit to land at Phalaborwa. If you dont have the permit your landing fees is almost 3X.

I normally head out from Circus, direct ovrhead Springs airfield.
From there I head about 5 miles to east of Bronkhorstspruit dam
Then overhead the eastern shores of Loskop dam.
Next marker would be Burgersfort .
Then overhead the northen Drakensberg on compass heading/map to your destination.. Just be very aware of winds and cloud cover here. Best that you have been able to contact someone at final destination to check the cloud cover at final destination. It can be very misleading visually on the approach as the cloud base appears to be solid, due to the angle of approach, whereas it is in fact often 3/8 cover, which those on the ground will be able to tell you.
Some big peaks here and the winds and currents that go with the territory, so please take care in this vicinity.
Wonderful descent from the mountains down to the lowveld.
You can smell the bush ... seriously.

For the rest it is a smooth and beautiful flight.
Sometimes a bit bumpy over Loskop area, but nothing serious there.
