Goebverwacht Braai & Fly Sat 20 Sept

It is very short notice, but please spread the word:

The Cape Powered Paragliders club is inviting all piltos (MPL, PPG, etc) to a Braai & Fly at Goedverwacht airfield tomorrow (Saturday 20 Sep).

We plan to light the fires around lunch time, snack on some picnic food for lunch, then do some local flights around the immediate area.
Pilots can take turns tending to the fire (not everyone will be in the air all the time).

We can land and settle down to braaing around the fires in the late evening.

Bring your own dop and chop, there is enough firewood on the premises.

This event is just to organise some socialising between the local microlight pilots and the paramotor pilots.

Hi Keith - I leave for an overseas trip tomorrow otherwise I definately would have been there. Please ask any visiting microlight pilots just to do a precautionary before landing as the grass runway may be waterlogged in places after these rains. Bringing my gyro back there on Wednesday required something of a spot landing...
