Re: 27 September at Brits Flying Club
The club will have Breakfasts available from 07h00 on Saturday the 27th September, and brunches going through the whole day.
Accomodation available for those wanting to do the slow Sunday morning back home. (Limited space though). First come, first serve.
All incoming aeries (untill 10h00 Saturday) will be judged on their landing in the Bingo Box for a prize. Winner takes kitty. Jacques (International landing judge) will inform you on your inbound call of the landing procedure. Here's a quick buck for the microlights.
Remember, NO landing fees charged at Brits. Avgas and Mogas available.
Nkwazi, signs are made as we speak. Will I eventually meet you ?

Re: 27 September at Brits Flying Club
Seems as if this will be a fun day to attend. What is the issue with taxi ways etc. I am planning a trip to Brits sometime this comming week. Just a fun trip as I have never been there. What are the procedures for landing at Brits as well as the taxi procedures. I remember some issue a while ago discussed here on the forum.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Pietmeyer,
Normal unmanned airfield approach or join overhead at 1500 AGL. Brits frequency 124.20 and just state your intentions. Runway normally in use is 02 for uphill landing so call right downwind 02.
Clubhouse is open. NO LANDING FEES.
On departure, taxi via the intersection and backtrack to your choice of 02 or 20.
Have a nice one
