The Microland ERMF guys are arranging a large contingent for the Bundu this year. Keep in touch for more info.

How many is a large contingent. It has been cancelled the last two years. Last year they needed as least about 13.

It is sad as it has been a good turnout and event in the past.

Maybe the organisers need to start communicating early this year on the forum to build some interest and ground speed.

Let us gauge the interest ourselves. It is normally about mid june and costs about R3 500 each.

I would go with pax. Who else :?:

So far I have had 5 pilots (with PAX) who have indicated their attendance. We are trying for at least 10 pilots.
Great idea to get a feel for attendance numbers. Who are the organisers?

Come on guys, we need to make this work. The only reason it was canceled last year was due to a lack of interest – its up to us so lets all get as many flying buddies and make it work. I planned to go last year and already started to pack – then came the dreaded phone call that it’sbeen canceled. I really look forward to this event and meeting members of the forum and flying fraternity!

Bad news...... Just received this mail.

"Morning
There will be no Kalahari Bundu Bash this year seeing we only have 7 entries and a lot of enquiries but no registrations as yet, and although we thought of taking them the caterers in the kalahari does not see their way doing this for less than 30 people , because of the distances they must travel. Sorry guys, but this is out of our hands. We will try and see if we can do the 20year next year, as you see it only depends on registration. Please fax me your banking details so I can refund you on your total registration fee's, Regards Ansa and Eben"

Fly safe,
Rudi
