Forum Breakfast

Postby Pykie » Wed Mar 14, 2007 9:07 am

How about co-inciding with the next East Rand Micro-Flyers (ERMF) Monthly Breakfast, which has been arranged for April 14th. :?:

Its a regular affair, courtesy of our illustrious Breakfast Crew, with quality fare on offer for a meagre R30.00 :shock:

Details for those not familiar with Microland;

S 25 58.4
E 028 23.3
5340' AMSL
120.35 - Three miles out
Join OH at 6000'. Generally 03RH/21LH but 09RH and 35RH also frequented. 27LH not recommended except for landing. 17LH closed except for emergencies. (Please try to avoid residences to the north and west of the field)

Cheers

Not on paper, but I have not done much short strip stuff in a while. Maybe some practise and then we have a look. Plan was to come, but 323 and the fence at the end are a bit? Maybe I land at brokies and someone give me a flip in a trike to Brekkie and back. (Will recipricate of course...) :wink:

From the Vans site.
Ground Performance - Solo Weight
Takeoff Distance 260 ft
Landing Distance 300 ft
Take off's are not the problem. I have had it off in less than 200ft, but the landing is a bitch if you are even 5mph too fast. Da Meercat She just wont squat/sit. AMO and original builder think problem may be between the instrument panel and the seat, but I am getting second opinion... :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
