PARYS TIME TRAILS.

Dear fellow microlighters

The Parys Time trial event scheduled for 19 July has been planned to accommodate microlighters for the first time!

Scully Levin, the creator and promoter of the time trail event, under the auspices of SAPFA rules, has provided a special spot for Microlight participation.
This means a logger is fitted to the aerie, flown twice or three times around a 1.8NM course marked by pylons, and the data downloaded to establish the speed of the aerie.

Scully and I chatted about the unique requirements of microlight pilots and the sensitivity to weather.
This means that the normal briefing will take place early or will be done differently to allow maximum use of the early crisp air.

This is a great fun event open to all Microlights of any speed capability.

Those who are keen to participate or just fly in for a great breaky.
