COSMOS RUN 2014

Yesterday I flew out to the cosmos fields south east of Delmas. The pink cosmos spots with their familiar sweet smell, the green open fields and the small rivers that curls around these pink spots are really looking beautiful. Its time for the cosmos run 2014. Lets GO!!!!!

I have heard about "The Cosmos Fields" from many over the years, but have never been to explore.
Can you give a more precise location?

The area just north of the north eastern corner of FAD 185, 11 miles SSW (heading 165) from Delmas, I have found over the years to be very good. I haven't been there this year, but will try and get there within the next week.

I went out yesterday morning (Wednesday) to search for cosmos.... beaut of a morning, nothing to the west of Delmas but lots to the south. Found a nice stretch going east to west about 2 miles south of Delmas that demanded a slow and low fly by, and lots of patches. Quite a bit to the east of Delmas too. The early morning mist and the smell of the flowers made it a memorable flight!
