Swartkop airforce museum

Postby Stretch » Wed Feb 05, 2014 10:21 pm

Good day all

I spoke to the officer in command of the museum about the microlights flying inn at the flying day on the 1st of March 2014 and he said I must talk to him closer to the time again so that he can get the right authorization. There is a place for a nice Breakfast while enjoying the fun day with friends. I just want to find out what the interest would be to let him know how many microlights might join them if possible.

Thanks
Paul

We have done this a couple of times over the past few years. Once had almost 100 aeries there.

Give details closer to the date and see if we can improve on a 100+ aeries.

There will be a couple of takers from Microland. I will do my best to be there.

Are there special clearances required....like for FAWK?

Mulderpm, I will find all that out as soon as speak to the him again. I also want to find out from him what detail he needs from us.
I think it more about getting authorization for civilian aircraft to land there, I gues

We have done this 4 times already, speak to Les (Mcfly on the forum) He has done this before...so in response...I will definitely be in...but you do need to get special permission the Airforce HQ... (^^) (^^)

Hay all

Just a reminder that I want to send the requEst in with a list of all the guys going to the HQ on Friday, for those you as not yet gave me their details .
I spoke to the officer in command and he said if it gets aproved, we need to be in by 07:30 and he will give us a time slot at 10:00 or 10:30 to leave again.
Lets see if we can make it a big group.
