Hey all

To those who have done this before I am looking for some advice and routings that we can take.
We are flying with 503's and i only have about 36L usable.

Hi Gav, there is some BIG Mountains. I will plan a route on Easyplan via Lydenburg for you and post it here. Been there before.

Ive been a few times, mainly two basic routes from the west rand.

If the weather is clear and calm when leaving Lydenburg then you can go over the top, about 8000 feet, other wise go south to Kwena Dam and then route along crocodile river.

nico, I sent a PM to Rob McFie last month. No dates yet. Usually arrangements start early Aug. This will be a first for me. Heard a lot about it but never made it there. This year for sure.

Agree with Weedy, go the Kwena dam route. I have been over the mountains sitting at 10500ft and not fun. Distance not much different anyway.

Rob's probably extremely busy with Oshkosh looming - suppose as soon as were all pack will start planning the Numbi weekend again... last year was propoer disappointing to this year we need to rally all the troops and get there... ??? make it like numbi of old.... vhpy vhpy
