Six of us flew in to St Francis in trikes a few years ago for this fly in and we were well accepted.

It was a good one.

And we have had a good number if microlights and gyros landing in the last 2 years.
Demon I thought I'd fly up but when I clicked on their website it clearly states that microlights and gyrocopters are not permitted to land there.
So no stirring - simply repeating their own position. If there's been a change in attitude that would be good to hear. vhpy

Thanks for the clarification Barry. I'll be in Arniston so may just do a little jaunt up the coast to St Francis :-)

Dave, your original comment was spot on . However, I am VERY pleased to see that the guys are welcoming visitors and passer by. I don't mind the rules of an Estate so will abide with pleasure. Maybe pop in there early next year (plan trip to plett) too then. Such a lovely area to fly. (^^) (^^)

Hi Barry, yes I miss those scrumptious breakfasts
Work is now really interfering with my flying time, but that's how the cookie crumbles.
I did wave on Sunday morning when I flew over your place. How`s the fishing ? ,my side not so good and the ski boaters all complaining as well . Compliments for the season and enjoy your time down here and be safe .
