Airsports World on Supersport 6

Just watched a program on Supersport 6 on DSTV which had the world microlight championships in the Chech Republic.
Good to see the sport is getting some exposure.
Pity no competitors from ZA this year.
I hope it gets repeated!
Anyone else catch it?

I saw it, great for the sport, just wish they showed more of the pilots and planes though! And yes I do hope they repeat it.

Did you see the white Quick R landing? I dont think I have ever seen a landing as hard as that, think he moved the landing deck a few meters. They were lucky to stay upright! Those Quicks are built tuff if they can survive a landing like that! Do yourself a favour and play that landing in slow motion if you have a PVR. SCARY SCARY!

Airsports World is on again tonight on SS1 at 21h00 - don't know if its a repeat

I've got video footage of the SA champs held in Heidelberg that I'm in the process of editing. I'll try to get some small clips together and post the Youtube links here.
I must say, I was unimpressed at those landings from the world champs (based on the footage) in comparison to our local boys in the SA champs. Most of our guys in Aquillas and some even in the Windlass did better spot landings than that!

I'd say we need to get some sponsors to get these boys to the world champs already!
