O yes! i remember last time i was there,.. have you ever met unfriendly aviators!!!, no one to welcome you, or even try n conversation, the locals sat on all the chairs available, making the visitors feel........, the place has a reputation, feels like flying into DRC where anti aircraft guns point at you. Sad sad, lets see if they have improved there attitude!, shall we go boys?.Is it just a brekkie, or do someone at least try to org something fun, some route to fly together, something on display, etc

Bit uncalled for. Barry(Demon) is extending a genuine invite for a breakfast fly in. I am sure that he will make you feel most welcome otherwise he would not have posted this thread.

Ok Barry, thanks for the invite, we will support u, always keen on a fly in.In regards of userfriendly airstrip, i am sure that some will agree on that, not blaming Barry, its complicated.Dropped pass of there once in a Baron, had to pay R700 landing fee, or is it a fine!,felt like one!, but lets forget that and enjoy the oppertunity. There's a very pleasant man flying a RV6 there, wealth of knowledge, nice to chat to, and learn from him. Will try to convince some friends to join.
