Yes Avgas, did you manage to get Kapt Flippie to bring the DC3? If so, what is their ETA?

Please tell us if you have anything special as far as joining and landing is concerned. What is your standard joining altitude, freq, will somebody be on radio to give QNH? Weightshift and fixed wing on same or different alt, etc? Sky divers active on Saturday? A final posting tomorrow please.

If weather is good the arrivals will all be at the same time exactly on the ETA Please fly carefully and look out. Fast and slow traffic mixed with high and low traffic! oppas

Baie dankie aan Avgas en al die lede en helpers van Nylstroom Vliegklub Dit was werklik wonderlik!Lekker kos, gedekte tafels met blomme, smaakvol, lekker maatjies, baie gasvryheid, die lys is lank! We all enjoyed it very much. You managed to put Nylstroom back on the aviation map. Richard, your idea of a FUN fly-in/get together is super. Thank you to Stefan for the original idea. Next time we must see more bushbabies attend.

To all who wanted to go but could not manage to move it high enough on the priority list, please do so for the next one.

Pity only one flexwing. Next time more microlighters PLEASE.


PS. Big thank you to Wonderboom ATC who helped is in after comms failure Our batteries, and that of the intercom went flat after the lekker weekend!
