We want to attend this event this week end. Does any body know off a landing strip we can use in that area. I don't need a fancy strip. I am flying a Savannah and do not need more that 300m level veld to land and store the aircraft. I would love to fly down there.

Go to www.mmc2010.com. Then go to transport and air traffic. There are 2 fields that you can land at: a) Pannar airfield - this is just for drop and go and b) Lowrance airfield - where you can park. Please feel free to contact me on 083 2550 639 for more info. I'm flying from Petit on Friday routing Standerton-Newcastle-Dundee(Battlefields Country Lodge)- Greytown. Planning to return on Sunday.

Hi Skin,

I made contact with them and a permit has already been issues to me, but it looks if there is going to be a problem with the weather. I think it will be possible to get there on Friday but Sunday seems to be a problem. I will make a final call tomorrow.
