Hi all, its almost time for our annual Bultfontein fly-in ( 8th year)on 13 March 2010. We invit all tipes of airchraft to join us for a lovely day in the freestate. Still on. Couple of guys from Bloem going and sleeping over.
Been there for the past 3 years and the hospitality is great. Always a big turnout with the pilots.

Hi Dirk

I think this year you must call it a "WINGS AND BENT WHEELS", the roads towards Bultfontein are so full of bloody potholes that it's almost impossible to drive to Bultfontein these days and if you do you are guaranteed to have bent wheels, how about some charter flights for the spectators?

Hi All

Ok so it seems as though driving might not be the best option, especially since I only just got my car back from the panel beaters less than a week ago. If anyone is thinking of flying down from JoBurg on Saturday and they dont mind the company of a crazed Ozzie and they have spare seat up for grabs then please PM me and let me know. More than willing to help cover fuel, lunch and drinks.

Good morning all, some detail of the fly-in :
Coordinates : S28.16.00 E 026.08.00
freq. in bound on 124.80 ATC in cicruit 120.20
Runway 05-23 (1400m grass) in use form 6:00 to 10:00am remeber spotlanding on arrival.( left handed circuits )depending on the wind and ATC.
Runway 17-35 (1000m grass) from 10:00am depending on the ATC.
alternate runway 11-29 (600m grass)
remember free breakfast for the Pilot.

Graan wil ons hier op bultfontein baie dankie se aan almal wat aan ons fly-in deel geneem het. Dit was lekke.Enige kommentaar is welkom. Sien julle volgende jaar weer .
