Sorry, I have been very busy lately so have not been here much!

For accommodation and other requests like braai packs please contact Stella @ 0820822362. She runs the restaurant at Rhino and is also in in control of the accommodation. Other that the bungalows there is also plenty space to camp for those who prefer that. We will make a big fire again in the evening for a braai and an "around the fire" social.

There will be plenty transport available so fuel won't be a problem, the new restaurant at Rhino is also fully functional, and licensed so that is also a good food and drink option.

I flew around the area on Sunday and there are plenty flowers about, all we need now is good weather!

Looking forward to a great Cosmos Run

Fly safe,
Rudi
Thanks Rudy, if all goes well I'll see you Friday afternoon vhpy

When you are done, was thinking on Sunday, thought you were still going to be away.

I also need to return that morning as we have other things happening. It thus leaves me with an hour or so for flying with all the guys at Rhino.

How far is the Cosmos from Rhino?

Hi Piet,

We will be flying from early but the best time to see the flowers are only after 9am as they need a while to open.

The Cosmos starts close to Rhino but gets better towards Delmas, Alex (Leprechaun) did a reccy this morning and he says a good spot is S26 17.117 E28 40.066, close to the spot where the guys landed last year amongst the flowers.

Leprechaun also offered to organize us a brekkie and patches for Saturday morning. If I can have a head count it will be great, the breakfast was great last year and VERY well priced.

See you Saturday morning!!!
Fly safe,
Rudi

Great! A few of us will be there Friday afternoon with the bulk arriving Saturday morning. Friday evening always makes for a good sundowner flight followed by the sundowners (^^)

Hi Rudi,
I was also hoping to camp out, but am in Channel Islands, only arriving back on Saturday.

Will still try to pop out if missus doesn't freak too much.
