Thought i would put a short note in to the forum this week end was full up with fun fun fun and good wholesome people once again , who took off once again to the BETHLEHEM air show . Landed around nine or ten in the morning .
BUT as we flew out of there seeing the big DRAKENSBERG it was a calling once again and sadly we missed the airshow but we did make up by flying in out the DRAKENSBURG breath taking it was to much to take in one has to keep going back it like a RITUAL a calling if one wants to call it that , we had a fantastic time good food plenty of stories and most of all good company . I personall y would like to thank BOB and DI at Shumba Valley Lodge once again , and special thanks to all that shared the weekend BIG G , STRAY DOG , STRAY BITCH , TUMBLWEED , FLO *havoc , THE GLEEKS Poepsie ,BEETLEJUICE we got you visual,EBEN and FUZZ and my BITCH DISH what a booooi

I concur - an awesome weekend with awesome company and brilliant memories and experiences to take home. My second time over the berg and into Dragons and it was as brilliant as the first - we really did have a fab weekend..
A comment to live by and remember - rather be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground...
Stray and a few others took some magnificent photos which im sure they will share soon...

An unbelievable trip. Over the freezing Drakensberg- 10500ft over white ice and dark crevices, Katse dam, then orbiting down to breakfast to a summer's day.
After refeuling at the Shell Ultra City en route past Clarens at midday, learned new meaning to the term thermals.
7 GT 450's, lots of flying and not a hint of trouble.
