This morning at 05h30 when you were still in dreamland I came overhead your place on the way to Petit.

Weather does look lekker for a afternoon flip - Had a headwind of note this morning but nice and smooth untill I hit Bapsfontein where it became less smooth but still flyable

Was up at 5. Take off was supposed to be first light at FAVB, but had to wait for oil until after 8am so could have slept in. Have I mentioned I am not a morning person.

New steering link arrived from Canada today. Will fit at 15.00. Take off FABB 15.30. C u at X winds by 4.

If i can get out PTA by 14:30 i will drive up to crosswinds and make sure cokes are cold and kettle is hot !

Planned going 3 times this week,
Got to the field yesterday, got the plane out checked, got in started taxied to runway and rain and wind came in - another a/c in the air called me on radio to advise not to take off as they could see bad weather - took advise

Will try again this afternoon

Going to try a new field just North of Aviators

Will hopefully be routing towards Leeupoort today, back tomorrow.

Route B was via Pinedene only 160km (west then north). Chick wanted north then west routing, as she's driving via Warmbaths.

Looks like it won't be too windy later today
