Hi Tribal

Thanks for the hospitality. Mike & I really enjoyed our brief visit and it was certainly not without a fair bit of excitement!
Sibaka/Ntokoza is great and I will definately be visiting again soon - maybe book in for a night when I can get off the farm.
Your runway is awesome and your hangar has to be the envy of any microlighter.
My place is only 45 - 60 min from you (my round trip was exactly 2 hours) and you are more than welcome to pull in here whenever you feel it.
If Im here, which is 99% of the time, there is always a cup of coffee or breakfast should you so wish.

Looking forward to my next visit.

S 25 12 00
E 28 31 23

My cell is 0825793868.

Give me a bell before you leave so that I can make sure the runway is clear. I am busy fencing the runway off, but there may be some cattel around.

Watch for powewr lines on the threshold to 03, which is normally the active. I dont have the indicators (I was going to say balls) like you have on your 34.

Howzit guys... puff

The topic has been quiet..when are we going to attempt the meeting again ##

Croc, are you there every weekend as I would like to flyin some time during the month..still itching for that long trip :?:

Cant wait for Ezulweni...

What are the things I should take with me on such a long trip :?:

I thought of a small tool kit(like that you get with your superbike),tire weld, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, snacks and drinks, spare prop (two halves if Oom Piet can make it for me) ##

The plan would be to have a small backpack with my kit strapped in with the Jerry Can on the back seat, the rest in the side pannier bags...which i must say can carry alot of stuff.

Any other ideas?

Be careful not to overload it, especially if you go to fields you may not know and is short and at high altitude. No problem at Ntokozo but there are a few around...

You see Madman it’s like this my weekend is 5 days long from Monday to Friday and my working week starts on Friday afternoon when the guests arrive and ends Sunday afternoon when I kick them out of the gate

No just joking I only go buy stock for the Lodge in the week but the rest of the time I am here ## ##

Give me a call or a sms the just before you take off so that I can listen out for you on the radio and clear the runway of that blesbok ATC

Hey guyz,

Thanx Bugwar.. I can just imagine trying to takeoff and it seems more like a 3 wheel quad ride... ##

Will do Mr Croc,I look forward to flying there..it must be really shweet flying in the bush as the green grass, trees repels less heat than tar and burnt grass, shack roofs,so it is less turbulent ##

Woza Weekend...look out Sky..here we come...Yeeehaaa :!: :!: :!:

Jip vhpy but sometimes the northern wind that comes over the Waterberg mountain range can keep you busy

More almal :)

That I can believe..since I am at Xwinds I am getting used to wind turbulence as we are close to Magalies,so any wind from that direction and you feel it ##

One thing I can now enjoy is a no mountain, flat country flight to Carltonville for breakfast...it 's 35 miles from Xwinds and the breakfast is already going at 06h30

Looking forward to a going to Aeroden and all the other places around Magalies..there are so many airfields close to one another near Magalies.

Thanx Willem,it was nice flying with you Saturday and nice meeting Francious and your sis as well...nice piece of gebraaide hoender met a lekka koppie koffie...hhmmm..now that is a first for me at the airfield so early in the morning vhpy

Have an awesome day people...eish..only in SA can the Ambulance and the Cops be involved in a five car pile up..and not involved in the helping effort..involved being part of the accident...

Stay Safe
:x man
