We have so far about 17 going from Knysna. If we can go five times in a row it is worth it! Our pary should consist of the following aircraft:
3 Joras (Plett, Paradise Beach, knysna)
2 Whispers (Knysna, P.E.)
Cheeta (Knysna)
Technam (Knysna)
R.V.
See you there!

Hi John
As we are a fly-in we wont be doing any airshow stuff. For the public we have flips in fixed wing and R-44,R.C.Aeries,Tandem skydiving,Police P.C.6 display.SAAF will do a static display and hoping to have some Young Falcons for the school kids.
We normally do abit of 'Pan Hopping' to the pans in the Van Wyksvlei area but they are still wet after good rains.Hopefully they will be dry by the time of the fly-in.The SKA project is on the go and Iam sure a number of people would like to fly there and see it from the air .Will be impressive in about a year when the main project comes on line
We have anumber of presentations For the pilots in the pilots hangar. There will also be stalls selling food and goodies during the day.Fri&Sat evening functions.
Just come and enjoy a relaxing weekend in the Karoo.Comfortable accomodation and Karoo food.
Look forward to seeing you here.
Regards
Rob.

Howzit Rob.
Nice to chat to you yesterday. At the moment it looks like we have 2 guys from Gansbaai (Nick Loubser and Francois Marais) and three of us from Cape Town and surrounds (myself, Louis Willers and Mark Bellingan). Please let me know if you could set up B&B accommodation for 5 for the moment. Many thanks.

Hello Western Cape pilots
What is the general consensus about making it to Carnarvon this weekend, with the weather that we are having?
Friday has a 40% chance of rain predicted, but a nice westerly wind.
Sunday afternoon looks good for coming back, with light 10km/h SE winds.
Please let me know what everyone is planning.
Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob.
I have been emailing you separately on this but we are 7 gyros and a Bantam hoping to arrive late afternoon on friday, and prepared (within reason) to accept that friday's weather might not be the greatest. We are all VERY keen and will do our best to be there.
The joining instructions, radio freq. and other details are not all that clear on the Google Earth image you posted. Please can you let us have these details.
Many thanks, and holding thumbs that this front will pass quicker than anticipated.
Rgds
