Just to update you all, the request was mailed to the commanding officer today. I will send the name list in tomorrow morning. So lets hope we can get this done and have an awesome day on the 1st.

Are there special clearances required....like for FAWK?

It sou ds like its the same as for FAWK, that why the pilot and aircraft detail was needed to be send with the request letter. If you can, please mail me the other pilots details (name, surname, aircraft type and reg) before the end of today and I will go to the officer in command and ask him if we can add the names.

For FAWK each pilot filled in a clearance application form, which was posted on the forum, and faxed it to the Air force Base. If you did not get a reply in time, you did not have clearance. That is why I asked the question about special clearances.

I definitely want to go, if still possible.

What was told to me is that as soon as HQ approves the request the indemnity and clearance documents will be send and then I wanted to mail or place it on the forum for the guys and the send it as one to to the HQ for final approval.
