fun rally

Hi folk.

On 18 December, Comefly Pilot Centre at Groutville Airfield will be hosting a 'fun rally' for trikes and fixed wing microlights like Bantams. LSA's can go fly to Vic Falls for the day:)

Entry fee R150. All proceeds donated to Community Elders who take care of the orphans in the Groutville community.

It will be a fun task, no time limit, and definately will require a navigator/passenger. Hopefully someone who can fly when you get totally lost:)

You will have to figure out crypic clues to know where to head for each task.

No GPS and no compass. Just lateral thinking, in the upright attitude, and reasonable map reading skills.

Start 6am for first take-off 7am

Total flying time should not exceed 1hr 30mins. Total elapsed time for entire route should not be more than 2hrs 30mins due to outlandings on various farm crop spraying strips.

Event will be a 'fair weather' occasion, so no 'hard-core' flying needed.

BYO for a braai afterwards.

Hey Dave, as you are not going to allow me to fly and Vic Falls is a little beyond my range, let me know if you need any help on the ground or at any of the outlandings, will be happy to pitch in.

yebo she is happening boss... juz a few of us, but numbers don't matter cause even one can have fun
