This fly in is sponsored by the owners of the Alte Kalköfen Lodge. They have made arrangements with Namibian customs for pilots that want to trailer their aircraft in from South Africa to do so without any taxes being paid. Arrangements have to be made with Frikkie Mouton (details below).
The accommodation is a really excellent value for money especially for people that will be bringing the family along. This lodge is perfectly situated for people that want to trailer in and fly over the Fish River Canyon , Southern Namibia and Western Namibia.
