Tialdragger Event/ Get together

We are looking at orginizing a get together of taildragger aircraft. Anybody will be welcome to attend but the objective is to see how many taildragger aircraft we can get together in one place and how many different types. It's still only an idea but we will probably be looking at a venue more central than Komatipoort although it would be ideal as we have the space and a Looooong runway. Any suggestions or ideas will be welcomed.

One suggestion so far is to combine it with CC's fly-inn next year.
The other is Groblerdsal

Well CC will have to make a plan with the ablusion facility this year, In my view it was a disaster and almost non existing last year

What is happening here
I do not understand why we must cancel one good fly in to join with an already great fly in
CC has the Bush pilots fly in. What other fly ins do you wan't to combine with it??
We will like in the past have have at least one great fly in at Nylstroom again this year. If the "Taildragger fly in" name has a copy right to it (that I am not aware of) then we will call it something else. Or just call it the "Practice Taildragger fly in"

I thought the idea was to have a roving event that will be held at a different venue each time but OK I am still orginizing a major event at CC's place. Not getting into a bun fight about this one. Already got CC's blessing and it will be marketed with his event also. This year it will be from 1-4 September. It will be the biggest Bush pilot's event ever with a full airshow and much more. The public facilities are being upgraded so it will not be aproblem again this year. I will open a new thread for the event.

No need to rotate. Taildragger pilots are real pilots and love to fly at each and every oppertuinity. And if there is no fly in they make one
Why not have as many as possible taildraggers at each event on the calender
Nylstroom fly in date to be confirmed. No airshow just flying, ride swopping, story swopping and general fun with camping on the field with braai fires and the required refreshments as you wish.
Have a lekka 2011 with lots of flying and events
