Marius Numbi is next week and the meelbom drop is next month so safe to say that the Dish could try it..............

However based on his drops at Numbi last year, its also safe to say that he will win nothing. Unless the drum is attached to his right wheel.

Guys, a really fun initiative. I would love to participate, but please, given CAA's justifiable tightening up on low flying and this being close to a built up area and right overhead a public gathering, I wouldn't be surprised if CAA will be sitting there with their camping stools and binoculars collecting a short-list for party invitations to tea on Monday morning.

Hi Alwyn,
So where there any takers?
I hope my concerns about C(i)AA didn't pee on your parade.

I popped over to take pics of the swarms of trikers going for the Grand, but didn't find any.

Was a beautiful day to fly though.

Hi there

Yes ,what a absolutely wonderful day for flying ,was't it. We had 6 microlights participating between 6 and 7:30. No winners this year but it will definitely be a carry over for next year. By the way thanks for the Pics . Our Kermis was a huge success and all moneys go for the education of the Children.

DJ Ossewa was jamming , hell those boertjies can sing , very talented chaps.

Caa ?? Yes what can I say . Not so sure they now where Nigel is.

Fly safe

Cheers

Hi Alwyn,
This is just a suggestion to overcome the safety/regulatory issues, but maybe consider placing the drum as indicated in the picture below.

I know it is not on the school property, but your crowds will still be able to see the action and pilots will be able to steer clear of crowds and built up areas....just a thought.

ps: I will also donate one case (12 bottles of Jack Daniels) to your prize kitty for next year if you can find a way of turning it into cash for the childrens' school funds.

Wow Definitely an offer I cant refuse , our children are crazy about Jack Daniels . Ha Ha.

We have an auction every Year that attract a lot off cash . That bottles will turn into cash in a jiffy.

Thanks for the suggestion . Yes that property is not ours but we will be able to organize.

Thanks again for the Pictures , it gave me a new look on what we actually doing. If I new it was so tight I would have made it R 10 000,00 Ha ha

And so we learn

Thanks Again
