After passing the 95 octane test with flying colours , the next thing was to lean my engine off a bit. (from 245 to 240) All egts looking well within limits (number two cylinder can be a bit naughty sometimes , but just need to tap off on the juice for a second or two and shes happy again or, even better , ive stopped using full power on T.O ) and cht"s staying below 190 . Oil temp also below the required 80 degrees. Engine feels nice and smooth , but cant see better fuel consumption as yet. ( although the density alt at the moment has been outrageous)
p.s im at 4200 a.g.l
Need to check tappets and cylinder head torques (50 hrs) but im almost reluctant to because on the 25 hr inspection NOTHING had moved! vhpy
