Revmaster have unveiled their long awaited turbo engine. They are not new to turbocharging engines, the forerunner was the R2100 turbo. More details on performance and pricing will be posted at a later date. These guys really test a new development very well before unveiling it, and even more testing on the Dynometer and test stand, before it is sold into the market.

The Revmaster R2300 Turbo has undergone very thorough testing and consistently gives over 100hp on the Dyno at 36 inches of boost. Revmaster CEO Joe Hovarth told me they are just looking to finalise a steady supply of turbochargers .It will most likely be this year, after extensive testing, that the Turbo R2300 will be on the market. A good alternative to Rotax, at a much better price, in the region of $12500. Also lighter installed weight than the Rotax 914 turbo.

Good news , testing of the Revmaster Turbo has been completed. The engine is rated at 104 hp with a boost of 36inches manifold pressure and RPM at 3200. The engine will hit the market in about 2months from now. Price is said to be around $12500. A very fair price indeed for a turbo engine from a manufacturer known for quality products.
