I have a Subaru 1800 engine with a Hurth gearbox on a G40.225 with a gear ratio of 1: 2.25.
This engine was a test engine on a gyrocopter before the engine was used the pistons, rings and bearings was done on it. During the test they soon realised that it did not have enough power for a gyrocopter and testing of the Subaru engine stopped. This engine only done about 10 hours after the pistons, rings and bearings was done on it all that the engine needs is a alternator and the input shaft that connects the gearbox to the engine.
