Rotax 912 xtra for sale -SOLD!!

I will shortly be removing the 912xtra from my Raven and am offering it up for sale.
Engine was rebuilt and zero timed by Gideon Niemann.
Installed a slipper clutch (+-/R10000)
Installed Carb Heat (+- R5000)
Exhaust system (+- R5000) all included.

Engine hours = 189
TBO = 1500
Currently flying this engine/aircraft on a regular basis.
Asking price R125k

Hi Joe,

Are you sure about the TBO? Reason I am asking is that if certain AD/SB's are complied with the TBO goes up to 1800, I believe some of them might have been mandatory. Ask Gideon he will know.

I have a certificate from Gideon specifying the 1500 hours - which I have accepted not knowing any better. :?

Well Gedion knows best but just check you engine number on the BRP Rotax website for TBO and while you at it sommer print out the list of SB's & AD's. You will see that when you do some off them the TBO gets extended ect.

I did it with mine, took the list to my AP and we checked all the bulletins and realised some was done and some not but in the end my TBO was 1800.

Now have an O-200 standing in my hanger.
Must first sell off the 912 before I install the Continental.

I can see from the colour of your air cleaners, that they have NO oil on them. ( The K&N oil is red) With no oil it will not stop any dust. It will at least stop sand and rocks from entering your intakes.But NOT dust. Oil them.
