Hi guys.
This parachute was attached to my Falcon P1 microlight in 2004. I had it repacked by Icarus in Edenvale some years ago. I removed it as it was not part of the sale of the Falcon. It has been kept in my workshop cupboard since then. I have no idea what the rating is.
My asking price is R5000.00.

Re: Spring activated parachute
I've been informed that it's called an American Safety Chute with a rating of 500lb= 226 kg.
Remember this chute is repackable in South Africa.

Re: Spring activated parachute
I'm very interested, but at 226kg it will not be suitable for a Hornet trike. It is basically the same as a Windlass and it weighs much more then the 226kg the parachute can take.

Thanks for the info Hopalong.
Was it perhaps the brothers Colin and Douglas that also manufactured the Mac. I would love to have a go at flying one again.
lots of fun to fly.
PS. This chute was just given a clean bill of health by Icarus and repacked for use. Now that is value for money.
