Report Date & Time: Thursday 06/02/2014 @ 22h45 SAST
Follow Magliesberg Weather on Twitter for Live Updates & Warnings: @MagaliesWeather
Report Summary: It pains me to say it, but this weekend is not looking like great flying weather! Check the conditions VERY carefully before deciding to fly! If flying into KittyHawk on Saturday, PLEASE check the weather at FAKT (http://www.fakt.co.za/weatherstation.html) before taking off!
Out-of-Five Rating: Saturday Morning Sunday Morning
Disclaimer: This weather guide is precisely that, a 'guide'! Use it, but question it, and always do your own research before flying! Remember that it remains the PIC's responsibility to conduct an independent check of the weather at the point of departure and destination as well as en route before taking off, by using official weather sites and official published weather reports!
Note: This weather guide is for Aeroden (25°43'30.17"S 27°44'23.90"E), a lodge and airstrip on the northern side of the northern Magaliesberg ridge, 6 miles west of the Hartebeespoort Dam wall - so PLEASE check the relevance to the area in which YOU plan to fly!

What's REALLY cool is if you work through THESE tips when on the EarthWindsMap!
First, click on the link for the LIVE site: http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wi ... 31.76,1821
Then:
1. Click anywhere on the map to get coordinates and wind speed/direction
2. Click on EARTH (bottom left) to bring up THIS menu, and then play with the parameters (yellow are current)
For example, these are winds at 10hPa (so high-level):
REALLY AWESOME STUFF!!!
