Hi guys

What websites/resources do you use to check for weather?

I use: http://www.vfrplanner.co.za seems to be the best because they have the wind @ diffirent altitudes

Also, what's you "minimum weather requirements" to make the "go / no go" call?

Examples:
  • QNH >= 1015
    wind <= 10kts (gusting <= 5kts)
    clouds/mist must be 1000ft above your intended flying height?
    if low lying mist is about it must be >= 1 mile away and not be moving towards you
Many thanks would appreciate your inputs

Cheers
Anthony

yr.no works for me. Spotgraph on weathersa.co.za also very accurate.

Easy to read information for the weekend pilot who does not want to have a met degree to read the aviation weather charts.
