Since weather is actually a grey science and as more technology is available to us, the more the predictions become innacurate.

As one who regularly seems to expose my lack of understanding, can someone please answer the following question.

Why, despite doing weather checks when conditions are always perfect, does the weather turn k@k on a fly day? :)

Does 'ole Murphy not play a role in this?

Yes it does. But be warned, weather foreacasting these days are more accurate than financial forecasting, and that said by a financial adviser and MD of a very big insurance company

Tumbleweed, expand a bit on your question? Weather turning k@k in what respect? Sudden high winds, or overcast that closes up suddenly etc? Depending on what actually "makes the weather k@k", the answer can be different, ranging from the onset of a low pressure system (which will suck everything into it from hundreds of miles away, potentially causing high winds), to high humidity with a narrow margin between temperature and dew point temperature (which can lead to overcast / fog) :?:

No, nothing so deep and technical.

When I can't fly its perfect, but let me start making plans for the afternoon or weekend and its k@k again, followed by a beautiful monday morning.
