Windguru!?

Postby Loco » Thu Dec 06, 2012 7:49 am

Hi guys, checked windguru last night and it said it was going to gust 17kts at Rhino so called off my morning flight

Just checked windguru again and now it says 5kts ?!

Damn i could have gone flying :(

Hows it possible for them to get it so wrong?

Hi Ant!

The wind last night was WOES! Although winds on the deck might have been flyable I would not have ventured aloft!

You need a good 4-6 hours for the winds aloft to settle after last nights wind!

Windguru is pretty damn good most of the time. I would rather blame the weather than Windguru for the changes!!

This weekend is looking great!
