Hi All,
The chain gang is taking a trip to the vaal and John.com is joining us. John will fly to crosswinds and meet up with Tailspin and Madman and they will then fly to Vereeniging (FAVV) where I will meet them from Klip. Anyone is welcome to join. The plan is then to fly either to Wingfield or Oranjeville and then return to our respective airfields.
Does anyone know if there is a spot for breakfast at Vereeniging, Wingfield or Oranjeville?

Landed at Oranjeville a couple weekends ago. Nothing there.

Closest destination to the Vaal that offers breakfast at the airfield is Parys. I know they have fuel as well.

What an awesome flight we had
John.Com joined from Aeroden, landed at Crosswinds as us 503 boyz were still faffing when he was already overhead
Took off and head to FAVV where we were to meet Alpha,10 miles out we were met by a blanket of mist.Could not see a piece of land from there.A pilot in the area confirmed it is totally covered,so we decided to head to Bara
Had a lekka coffee as we always enjoy Bara's coffee and hospitality
Waited for Alpha to arrive. Then decided we would like to still continue our trip even tho it ain't to Oranjeville...so we routed to Carltonville, played along the way
At Carltonville we were welcomed by a very friendly jump pilot who kept us informed all the way from 10 miles out about the skydiving and allowed us to land before his next load of meat bombs
It was really fun just having to fly with a group fun characters and enjoying ourselves.
The trip back was bumpy but we managed to keep ourselves entertained...
Looking forward to the next one
