Will be taking off from FABA at 6AM on Sat 6th Oct for a CC Flight to a Pvt Strip just North of Standerton. Will return to FABA on Sunday Morning.

Distance: 66 NM both ways.

Routing (There) From FABA to Devon, continue on track to dest via Leeupan Dam. Return journey will be the same.

Does anyone know whether Evander/Secunda/Standerton have their own frequencies? Or do they operate on 124.80 as per usual? These are my only real alternates.

Tumbleweed you are always welcome to land there (as is anybody else who needs to get on the deck) Phone Wimpie zero 8 too 8 niner 6 zero 11 niner, if you are ever stuck and need fuel / shelter. He loves trikes!

See Bundy's post for coords. Rwy is roughly 09 / 27 dirt, and smooth, 800 metres. If approaching from the West, please don't prang into the house or mieliestoor. Also beware the radiomast next to the house. In extreme crosswind conditions, use the cropsprayer runway next to 27 threshold between the mielies, running at a 30 dgree angle to the trike rwy. - 1200 metres, but a bit rough. Or land / prang in the mielies.

Visited Sunday the 7th and nobody home.

On Sundays everybody is in church in Standerton - then a barbie / Mom's afval / skaapboud /etc. at my Dad's house in town. (Wimpie and Marne lives on the farm now - brother in law and sister.)

My Mom's Sunday meals usually keeps us in town until late afternoon!

On this specific Sunday we were all away on a little family - gathering. Which is the reason why Bundy's trip got canned in the first place.
