Think he's selling because he needs the hangar space. Currently also got a microlight & a nearly finished Bushbaby. Too many toys!

Re: Aviatika 890 Single seater
Hi everyone
I have one and the same that i use for some bush spraying on the farm in Namibia
582 engine.
Now i am 80 kg and take on 50 l of fuel and another 85 to 90 liters of herbicide and with this
she takes off in 100 to 120 meters and climb out at min 500 ft per minute. That is at 4000 ft above sea level.( cool mornings )
You cannot spray at temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.
( Pilot only and 50 l fuel - take off is about 30 - 40 meters and climb out 800 to 900 ft / minute at sea level )
I paid exactly the same price but had to rebuilt the complete aircraft and respray etc that cost some 30 000-00 plus.
She cruise easily at 110 km / hour ( yes the Russians fly at km / hour and meters above ground) and approach at 60 km/h with landing at down to 43 km/h
(above is at sea level)
Why we xyz around at mph and feet above ground level only the Americanos will know.
Aviatika is built in the Mig factory in Moscow and you can order any part you want but the aircraft like all Russian built
is bullet proof and simple to maintain and unbreakable - you really have to be serious to break it if you want to.
Fly the same in handling as a Cessna 150 / 152 in handling .
I know she is slow but very nice handling characteristics and very forgiving.
This aircraft above is beautiful and a steal for this kind of money. ( mine did cost much more when i got her finished)
See attached my Aviatika with spray equipment
Safe flying
Johan
